ITP members are invited to the opening of the Australasian Conference on Information Systems to be immediately followed by a keynote talk from Ian Taylor, Entrepreneur, Animation Research on Navigating Our Digital Future. Ian is a former ITP President and multiple award winner.

The talk will be followed by afternoon tea.
This event is free for ITP members but registration is required.

About The Speaker

Ian Taylor
ITP President 2014-2016

Ian Taylor is recognised as one of New Zealand's leading Maori innovators and established three successful technology businesses from his base in Dunedin including Animation Research Ltd (ARL), one of the country's most celebrated high tech companies.

Ian was a strong advocate for increased participation of Maori in ICT, as well as ITP's continual push on educational issues.

ACIS Conference

ITP members are also invited to attend the full conference which is the premier regional event for information systems. Pre-conference workshops are on Tuesday 1st December, and the main conference is from Wednesday 2nd December to Friday 4th December.

Apart from the keynote the conference is virtual and to cater for our Australian colleagues timing is from 1pm to 7pm each day. Full details are available here
