CITRENZ Conference 2020
CITRENZ 2020: An Outstanding Conference in a Critical Year
Registrations are now open for the 2020 CITRENZ Virtual Conference. The Virtual Conference is an opportunity for you to connect with participants from throughout New Zealand and further afield, without the usual cost of traveling to another city.
2020 is a year of change with reforms in the tertiary sector and different learning environments as a result of a global pandemic, as well as changes in the economy and the technology landscape. The annual CITRENZ conference returns, not only with the regular technology and education papers, workshops and panels, but also with dedicated sessions to address the current questions our education providers are facing. This will be further enhanced with keynote speakers, networking and social sessions, and participants from schools and industry.
Date and Cost
The 2020 CITRENZ Virtual Conference will be held on October 7 - 8, 2020. The cost for the conference is nothing (FREE!!). You can register now below.
Who Should Register?
Anyone who is interesting in computing (information technology) education should register. We would encourage participants from all aspects of the IT Sector. In the changes that we are all facing it is important that your voice is contributing to what we do in 2020 and beyond.
About The Conference
CITRENZ 2020 is the premiere computing education conference in New Zealand and spans all disciplines of computing and information technology education. While focusing on tertiary education, it also provides links from secondary education and further into the computing industry. The conference regularly attracts more than 100 attendees from all over New Zealand as well as international delegates. This year we are running the conference on a virtual platform. This is largely due to the ongoing uncertainty this year but it will also allow us all to experience a different format and hopefully engage wider.
The theme for CITRENZ 2020 is: "Leading IT Education in a Changing World".
Authors are invited to submit papers, posters, panels and workshops for presentation and publication.
