This week's free ITP Thursday Live webinar features a talk and Q&A with Lance Wiggs, well known tech entrepreneur, advisor and investor and co-founder of the $50m Punakaiki Fund. How has the tech start-up world coped with the last few months and where are the opportunities going forward?

Lance has an absolute wealth of knowledge from within the tech startup world, combining a heap of global experience with helping high-growth companies in New Zealand. He'll be talking about:

• What does the future look like?
• What will the new $300 million "Elevate" government fund for VC funds do for NZ?
• Where are the best investment, business and employment opportunities?

This will be a hugely interesting talk and Q&A for anyone interested in where tech is heading, the impact of recent events, and the future opportunities available in the space - from a dev, business or investment perspective.

As always, the Thursday Live Webinar will kick off with the TechBlog crew talking through the big stories of the week, and finish with an extended Q&A with Lance Wiggs.

Previously held on Friday afternoon during the Covid-19 lockdown, ITP's magazine-style regular Live Webinars have now moved to Thursdays fortnightly and feature the awesome TechBlog team plus a special guest each session.

These webinars are fully interactive, with heaps of time set aside for Q&A.

Each fortnight the Thursday Live Webinar features a special guest.

With an MBA from Yale and a wealth of experience formally advising over 100 companies from early-stage startups to Trade Me during their sale to Fairfax, Lance Wiggs knows his stuff. In recent years he co-founded The Punakaiki Fund, now a 50+ Million fund that invests across the tech ecosystem, and continues to advise a multitude of companies and others in the tech world.
