ITP's Tech Chat Tuesday is a chance for everyone isolated to connect up and have a bit of a chat in a small group setting. This is a no-sales zone; but come and share how you're getting through.

This is limited to 200 people per session, who will then be split randomly into groups of 5-6. Come and meet other tech folks like you in the same boat and feel free to engage as much or as little as you're comfortable.

We'll run this every Tuesday while Level-3 and 4 is in place and may look to run this for different groups within our community and others on other days with specific topics. Look out for the new ITP Friday Webinar series as well, every week during lockdown.

Times are tough and certainly different, but that's no reason to not stay in touch with your professional community through ITP. Head along and engage.

Format

Following a short introduction, we'll outline a couple of possible talking points then split everyone into groups of 5-6. Introduce yourselves, talk about the suggested thing, or just have a chat with others in tech. An awesome way to increase your nationwide network. 

Important: This is a microphone and camera on activity. To properly engage, we expect everyone to have their camera on.

Chats will run for around 15 mins per group. For those able to commit to a little longer, we'll run a second session straight after (so you can either head back to work or meet and network with a second group of people per session).

Please connect on time as we'll be splitting into breakouts early!

Connecting in 

We'll be using Zoom for these Tech Chats, so if you haven't used it before we suggest trying to join 5 minutes early to download the software.

We will email the connection details 30-60 minutes prior to the session to those registered, to their registration email address, so please check your email!

Registration

Given the limited numbers, registration is essential and is limited to 200 people per session.

Registration is for those working or studying in tech. Tech Chats are free, and while this session is open to anyone in tech, future sessions may be limited to ITP members only.

While some screenshots and group recordings may be taken as per the note below, the breakout sessions themselves will not be recorded.

Please note that this session may be video or audio recorded for viewing by other members at a later date. As it is possible that audience members may be incidentally recorded, please let us know if you specifically want to be excluded and we will ensure you are not shown.
