A lot has been said recently about the reported $1.5 Billion transformation project currently underway at the Inland Revenue Department (IRD). This is your chance to hear from, and discuss the project directly with, Revenue Minister Hon Todd McClay.

Some see the project as an opportunity to undertake a truly transformational and generational change to how IRD, and in fact Government as a whole, operates; whereas others hold deep concerns about the viability of any project of that size and complexity.

There have also been a range of questions within the industry about the opportunities for New Zealand's bustling IT sector to get involved.  Will the project be run from off-shore, what are the safeguards in place to ensure it delivers, and most importantly, what is the overall vision of the transformation project?

In this breakfast presentation Revenue Minister Hon Todd McClay fronts up to outline the vision and objectives of this hugely important project and why it's so critical to New Zealand's future. He'll also talk about the steps in place to ensure strong New Zealand industry involvement before opening up to questions from the floor. Come and discuss how our sector can engage with this transformational project.

Includes full sit-down breakfast from 7:30am. Presentation starts at 8am.
