A question we are often challenged with in Product Management is how can we foster more innovation and delivers solutions that outpace the competition or allow our businesses to operate faster? Afterall we are all looking to build the next great product or innovation- to think out of the box and be that guy or girl who comes up with new and different tech solutions that change our world like Uber, AirBnB or Apple.

In this presentation Rebecca will share insights and practical tools and techniques you can apply in your business or organisation to help with idea generation, experimentation and nurturing ideas through to commercial launch. She will talk about the ups and downs of the innovation journey, and share how Hackathons can help energise teams to deliver the next big thing - or at least some pretty cool stuff - in a 24 hour timeframe.

About The Speaker

Rebecca Kemp, Senior Product Leader, EROAD

Rebecca has spent the last 6 plus years at Fleet Management and Compliance Services Provider 'EROAD' helping create products that have grown the company from a late stage start-up to a listed company on the NZX operating across 3 global markets. Her current focus is on health and safety solutions - and she is at the forefront of thought leadership in telematics in NZ and Australia, publishing white papers and speaking at conferences on how technology can drive positive change in the industry. 

Prior to EROAD Rebecca built up a wealth of international experience in the financial and technology sectors with companies including Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Honda UK and ASB. In her spare time she ferries her 2 boys around to rugby, basketball, swimming and touch which keeps her very busy!
