IT has become a determinate of business success. Five of the top ten USA businesses are IT companies. In NZ IT is reaching 3rd value export earner.

Do you want your company to be a Leader? Do you want to be a Leader?

These monthly breakfast sessions will give you valuable information that you need to know. At each you will be asked to put forward your ideas - but other attendees may comment on them - together we will distil the vital knowledge and experiences you need.

In this first session Owen McCall will put forward topics and opportunities which are most critical to successful implementation of IT in Auckland companies. Owen will facilitate rather than pitch!

You will be expected to comment and rate the ideas. You will also be asked what is the best way for you to gain greater understanding of the topic.

Note that topics can extend to the edge of IT: Recruitment; Soft Skills; Strategy; HR; Collaboration; Innovation; Accounting for our business activities; etc.

You will be asked to rank Topics for future meetings so we focus on what you want.

About The Speaker

Owen is an independent consultant, adviser and mentor, a lover of technology and a believer in technology's potential to transform. He works with senior leaders and technology teams who are committed to realising the potential of IT in a way that adds value for their organisation.

Owen is a qualified accountant and was previously the CIO of The Warehouse Group and a partner in Deloitte Consulting. In addition to running his practice Owen is a regular blogger and contributor to CIO and iStart publications, a regular speaker and judge of industry awards including CIO 100 and the NZ Hi Tech Awards.
