Introducing the Tarn Group, a Dunedin company delivering an online learning platform to a wide range of customer's across NZ and Australia.


James Nation (CE) will give the background to the company, who it works with, and where it is planning on going, before handing over to Lauren Perry (Lead Designer) and Gary Wilkins (Lead Developer).

Gary and Lauren will talk to our product roadmap development - Lauren on gathering the customer feedback, understanding and using these insights from a design standpoint. While Gary will discuss balancing the design requirements with the desire for a simple and clean technical solution and how this dynamic has helped create the best ideas.

About The Speaker

James Nation has a Bachelor of Physical Education completed in 2000 and has recently completed his MBA. During his MBA studies he used Siliconcoach as the basis for his major consulting project.

Previously Bracken Business Development Manager, he has plenty of experience with staff and clients of The Tarn Group. He came to The Tarn Group from ACC in 2014 where he worked as a health and safety consultant to employers for over 8 years.

James was also part of the New Zealand Black Sticks hockey team between 2003 and 2009, during which time he participated in two Olympics (Athens and Beijing).
