Security Seminar: Teaching the Good Guys Bad Tricks

Duration: 1/2 Day

You can't fight a war that you don't know you're waging. You can't defend your websites against attack unless you know the tricks that the bad guys will use.  Join Andy Prow, Managing Director of Aura Software Security, in this follow-on from the earlier National Series presentation as he demonstrates and discusses attacks and defences in action.

Book Early - numbers are very limited

By the end of this session you'll have an understanding of some of the common attacks such as:

  • Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)
  • Cross-Domain Request Forgery (CDRF)
  • SQL Injection
  • Man-In-the-Middle attacks
  • Have an appreciation of how layering your defenses (defense-in-depth) that can help protect you from exploit chaining

The session will also give you some practical tips that you can apply straight away to help you design, build and manage more secure websites.
