Cloud Computing and the use of Big Data in Education have joined the line-up at this year's ITx conference next week. There are still tickets left - it's not too late to get to ITx.


May-Ann Lim, Executive Director of the Asia Cloud Computing Association, and Brendan Kelly, Deputy Chief Executive in charge of Information at the Tertiary Education Commission have joined the keynote speaker line-up at this year's ITx conference, to be held in Wellington from July 11 through July 13.

Lim and Kelly join a host of keynotes from across the world at ITx 2016, including Silicon Valley insider Edith Yeung, Australia-based Entrepreneur and Magician Vinh Giang, Europe tech thought leader Mark Smalley, kiwis Ian Taylor and Ian McCrae, founders of Animation Research Ltd and Orion Health respectively, and technology marketer Rachael Cotton-Bronte also from New Zealand.

ITx is a collaboration of twelve tech-focused conferences and bodies and focuses on innovation, technology and education. ITx brings IT professionals, decision-makers, leaders and academics together under one roof. This is a conference like no other: where industry, academia and government come together to network, learn and engage.

With nine streams of presentations running simultaneously across a broad range of areas, there really will be something for everyone. Your registration gives you access to all sessions across all streams in all conferences (subject to availability).

Is 3 days too long for you?

Keen to attend ITx but is three days of awesome a bit much? You can also register for just one day, or take advantage of a two-day combo to attend on Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday.

If you're attending on Monday or Wednesday you can also attend the networking drinks on those evenings at no cost. The 2-day registration also includes entry to the NZ Excellence in IT Awards on Tuesday evening. Note that 1-day tickets do not include entry to the Awards dinner.

The conference will commence at around 9am on Monday 11th July, and conclude at 7pm, following networking drinks, on Wednesday 13th July (conference sessions conclude around 5.30pm each day).

You can register for ITx via Credit Card online now by using the link below, or alternatively call 0800 252 255 with your Credit Card details.

If you are a member of one of the 12 associations above, please choose the appropriate Member Rate. All registrations at these rates are subject to confirmation directly with the association, and the full rate will be charged for those that are found to not be financial members. Please contact us if you are unsure.

You can choose 1-day or 2-day options, otherwise registration is for the full 3-day conference.

Approved organisations can opt to pay by invoice by calling 0800 252 255 or emailing attendee and business details through to Credit criteria and other conditions apply.

Unfortunately we're unable to accept cancellations after 30 June 2016 unless for serious medical or emergency reasons. Cancellations prior to 30 June will incur a $100 cancellation fee. Note that registrations CAN be transferred up until the start of the conference.
