Institute of IT Professionals - Newsline

IT Professionals New Zealand, in conjunction with NZTech, InternetNZ and Buddle Findlay Lawyers, are hosting the second Digital Futures Political Panel Debate tonight at 5.30pm.

The event is sold out, however will be live streamed at itp.nz/feed

Focused on New Zealand's Digital Future, the tech manifesto released by ITP NZ, NZTech, InternetNZ and 17 other national tech bodies in May this year, the panel features Labour's Clare Curran, National's Brett Hudson and the Greens' Gareth Hughes.

The panel will be facilitated by RNZ's Kathryn Ryan, and will kick off promptly at 5:30pm.

NZQA National Qualifications service and IT Professionals New Zealand, as co-developers of sub-degree IT and computing qualifications in New Zealand, invites feedback on the draft cybersecurity and software testing qualifications proposed to be added to the suite of current computing and IT qualifications. 

The draft qualifications are now out for consultation.
