TPN Wellington: Quality in data projects - It's not all about the data
3 Queens Wharf
Data is often a key component of a successful IT project, whether it's migrating customers onto a new system, building a new system interface or building your data warehouse. It doesn't matter how good the new system is, if the data isn't fit for purpose then the project may be deemed a failure.
What are the characteristics of a data project that helps deliver a quality outcome? It's less about the data than you might think. This presentation uses real life case studies to work through factors that contribute to quality in data projects including understanding the business strategy, making the data work for the business in the new world and business buy in.
This will be of interest to many outside of testing, and promises to be a very interesting session. Forward to anyone you think could benefit. Bring any and all questions that you might have!
Please bring $5 cash or pay online - see registration details below. All welcome. The presentation will be followed by a networking session with drinks and nibbles provided by TPN.
