ITP Student Council are excited to host the following event to assist in the development and growth of our student members. All ITP members are welcome to join.

The digital technology sector in Aotearoa NZ is thriving; however, there is an increasing demand for impactful digital technologies leaders and professionals. But, what does it take to become an impactful tech professional and build a digital tech career to achieve your personal goals, ambitions and contribute to communities?  

Join ITP Student Council on Thursday, September 22nd from 4pm for an interactive virtual panel discussion to learn how digital technology leaders took charge of their careers and the lessons they learned along the way. This is an opportunity for you as a student to interact with experienced industry professionals in a variety of career areas to learn about what it takes to prepare for a specific digital technology career and be successful. 

Panelists:

Elf Eldridge

Dr Elf Eldridge is a security consultant for ZX Security. Dr. Eldridge has been working as a penetration tester and security auditor for ~ 5 years, and has extensive experience delivering technology courses to both public and private sector organisations. Previously he taught computer science, engineering, physics and mathematics at Victoria University of Wellington from 2013-2017 after obtaining his PhD through The MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology. 

Nathan Bromberg

Nathan Bromberg is a Software Solutions Architect for Deane Apparel, a division of Alsco New Zealand. He has been in the industry for over 15 years, starting in a Helpdesk role as he studied towards his Bachelor of Applied Information Systems, and more recently in a variety of Senior Developer roles for the last eight years. During his career he has worked in the education, finance, construction, and manufacturing sectors, as well as obtaining a Master of Business in Management from AUT in 2013, and Chartered IT Professional certification in 2015. Aside from his work as a developer, Nathan has a passion for technology in wider society, which was the focus of his masters thesis.

Natasha Keith

Natasha leads the Tech team at Robert Walters and has been with the company since 2014, she is highly motivated and is passionate the Tech space.  
 
Natasha came to Robert Walters from FNZ (Tech/Finance) and has now found her joy in recruitment, where she gets to help people in finding roles that challenge and excite them. She enjoys all things tech and with recruitment covers areas across; Security, Architecture, DevOps, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, UX/UI, Testing, Development, Management, Data and Business Intelligence as well as Systems and Infrastructure roles.

Non-member registrations is $10 and includes a years ITP membership for any eligible Students.
