The changing face of networking: 4 Mbit/s to 40 Gb E
72 Devonport Rd,
Back in 1992 networking was very different, we had different speeds, different methods of management and troubleshooting, and very different business requirements. Today the digital workplace is awash with almost everything being network connected, whether they are meeting room panels, our plain old laptops or even ambience sensors. The demand on the network is now even greater as we extend the connections from our offices to different countries just to make sense of what's going on. I plan to talk about my journey and how I have seen the network evolve.
A subsidised meal for $23 is on offer to all and will be served during the presentation. There is an opportunity for networking beforehand and at conclusion. A cash bar is also available.
