About Tahi Rua Toru Tech (123Tech)
123Tech is New Zealand's exciting new digital challenge for school students, helping solve problems in local schools and communities using digital technologies. Partnering with the Ministry of Education, IT Professionals NZ created the 123Tech Challenge to support the new Digital Technologies & Hangarau Matihiko curriculum in schools in partnership with the Royal Society, Digital Technologies Teachers Aotearoa, CodeClub Aotearoa and other partners. Small teams complete the challenge as a whole-class activity, smaller in-class groups, or through local Code Clubs.
The regional finals are events being held across the country in October and November where participants will be interviewed by a friendly panel of regional industry and education experts.
